Bobbejaansrivier Bainskloof Day-Hike
The Bobbejaansrivier Trail is one of the more challenging yet most rewarding adventures in the Limietberg Nature Reserve. This guided 9km hike leads you deep into rugged fynbos valleys, along riverbeds, and into the quieter, untouched corners of Bainskloof.
Your hard work is paid off at the end of the trail, where a series of deep mountain pools and waterfall-fed basins offer the perfect place to cool down and soak in the scenery. It’s one of the most spectacular swimming spots in the region.
Cape Nature lists the trail at 5 hours, but our guided experience usually takes around 6 hours, allowing time for rest breaks, photography, fynbos appreciation, and those must-have swims.
