Bainskloof/Wellington - Murasie Guided Day-Hike/Walk
Just off the Bainskloof Pass within the Limietberg mountains, the Murasie Trail leads through untouched valleys where nature has quietly reclaimed the past. The name “Murasie”, meaning “ruins”, hints at the remains of a old, some say haunted, homestead on the path, now wrapped in fynbos and mountain silence.
The trail winds past clear streams and shaded pools, offering views of sandstone cliffs and the rich plant life of the Cape Floristic Region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is a journey through both landscape and time. Where the wild beauty of the mountains meets the mystery of forgotten lives once lived among them.
As this is a guided experience details, time & distance, may differ from other sources such as Cape Nature and based on the groups preferred speed.
